RES-Q - Environmental Education Summer Day Camp
The ever-increasing demand for quality summertime activities for
children is a niche in which the University of Arkansas Cooperative
Extension Service 4-H RES-Q Program fits perfectly. One of the
premier outdoor education programs in the state, the 4-H RES-Q
program is now ready to offer its fun, experiential education
curriculum during a warmer season.
Children ages 7-12 years old will enjoy four fun-filled days from 9:00 AM to
3:00 PM Tuesday through Friday at the Arkansas 4-H Center in Ferndale, Arkansas.
Each day’s activities will revolve around a theme such as Wildlife, Aquatics,
Forestry, and Outdoor Adventure.
Forty kids will be accepted for each four-day session. There will be twenty
children from ages 7-9 and twenty children from ages 10-12 in each group. Each
group will have two RES-Q instructors, creating a low instructor/child ratio.
