Two-day/one-night program includes program materials, 2 lunches, 1 dinner, 1 breakfast and lodging in a hotel style room.

Adult Supervision Ratios:

For 3rd grade and older- one adult for every ten students is required.

For 2nd grade and younger- one adult for every five students is required.

If you are planning a one-day program, educators will pick from Option 1, 2, or 3 from the Program Schedules section, depending upon bus and school schedules.  Each class requires 1 hour and 30 minutes of instructional time.  When you arrive, your group will participate in a 30-minute orientation.

If you are planning a two-day/one-night program, your schedule will follow Option 4, from the Program Schedules section, and educators will pick five classes.  The group will be responsible for the planning and conducting of the campfire/evening program.

Parent Information

There are self-explanatory forms designed to simplify the necessary procedures needed to ensure the safety of the students as well as providing information to parents.

Lodging

Lodging at the C. A. Vines Arkansas 4-H Center consists of rooms that will house six students or four adults comfortably.  Each room has a private bath, linens, towels and soap.

When possible, males and females will be placed on separate floors with adult chaperones assigned to each floor.  Adults will not be housed in rooms with students.

Students must be divided into lodging rooms on the assignment forms and those forms must be sent to the 4-H RES-Q staff five days before arrival.  Room assignment forms can be duplicated for recording roommate assignments.
