RES-Q - Environmental Education

Welcome to the Arkansas 4-H Responsible Environmental Stewardship - Quest, 4-H RES-Q, at the C.A. Vines Arkansas 4-H Center.  We invite you to join the lengthy list of educators who make learning come alive in the outdoors.  Our environmental education program is more than a change of place for learning.  It is the excitement that comes when students realize that education goes beyond the classroom and that the world around them is a lifelong learning arena.

Picture of three children looking at a horsetail stem.4-H RES-Q is an environmental education program funded by the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service, the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality, the Arkansas 4-H Foundation, and many other partners who support both education and wise use of Arkansas' natural resources.

4-H RES-Q is offered as a one-day or two-day /one-night experiential environmental education field trip for learners of any age.  The minimum number for a field trip is 20 students. Please call the 4-H RES-Q office for maximum numbers.

The field trips are offered year round, weekdays only. The entire program is conducted ten miles west of Little Rock at the C.A. Vines Arkansas 4-H Center in Ferndale.
